Welcome Coach Ryan Moore
Trabuco Boys Soccer was excited to learn that Ryan Moore is the new head coach! Ryan is from England and has a great accent even though he describes himself as one of the rare Brits that can tan. Ryan came to California for the first a few years ago and fell in love with it. He is a surfer so just try to imagine someone who only ever surfed in the cold Atlantic ocean around England coming to Orange County for the first time in the summer. Yeah, he was hooked.
Ryan of course played soccer in England from a very young age but actually got his start in coaching as a strength and conditioning coach at a tennis academy in his home town of Bournemouth. That lead him to working with some youth soccer teams and then some summer camp programs here in the US. His work at the camps turned into a coaching role with AYSO United out of Long Beach where he met a few incoming freshman from our school. Some of the parents got to know him and recommended him for the job here at Trabuco.
